Sheila Moffat has applied theory to practice within the interior design field for more than 25 years.
Following a comprehensive Interior Design education, Sheila’s professional experience began with immersion into kitchen and bath design while working for a successful Toronto-based cabinet manufacturer. Here, she gained tremendous experience introducing new and innovative design trends while directly interacting with clients.
As the daughter of a Master Carpenter and Engineer, Sheila learned about details of craftmanship from an early age. This invaluable knowledge has effectively helped her provide clients with the best advice and information to guide their decisions.
More of Sheila’s professional experience includes:
- Operating as a Design Consultant for a well-established North American home builder.
- As Director, successfully overseeing Design Studio business for 15+ years, prioritizing client budget requirements and managing timelines to ensure positive customer experiences.
- Conceptualizing, designing, and delivering a new, ready-to-operate Design Studio.
- Remodelling a Design Studio which won an Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) Award.
- Partnering in a new Sales Office design which won a Durham Region Home Builders’ Association (DRHBA) Award.
- Designing, coordinating and delivering a 1,500 square foot commercial outdoor barbeque – patio area.
- Designing a prominent commercial countertop Showroom.
